The International Exhibition Company of Markazi Province was established in 1999 on a 20-hectare plot of land at the intersection of the country's north-south and west-east highways. On November 15, 2000, during the second day of the visit of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, to Markazi Province, the exhibition center was officially inaugurated by him at its current location. Since then, numerous provincial and local exhibitions have been held at this venue, receiving widespread public interest from both the province and the country. Following further efforts and in pursuit of short-term and mid-term objectives, as well as in line with the resolutions of the Export Development Task Force, the company officially began operations in 2003 with investments from both the public and private sectors.
